Every Refined project begins with a consultation to determine your goals, needs, and scope of work. This ensures your design journey is intentional, personalized, and managed with care from day one.

Refined is billed at an hourly design rate, invoiced in half-hour increments.

Your project is priced based on an estimated number of hours it will take to complete, outlined in your custom proposal.

How It Works:

1. Design Discovery Call

This quick 30 minute Zoom meeting allows us to clarify your design and lifestyle goals, pain points + design preferences.

2. Design Consultation ($250)

We align on goals, assess your space, and determine if Refined is the right fit.

3. Proposal

We assess the number of hours it will take to complete your project to your standards with our expertise.

4. Planning

This is when we have our Visionary Planning Session complete with our signature design + color assessments (basically a consultation on steroids) where we create an initial plan and outline the steps it will take for us to get there.

5. Design Development + Source List Review

You’ll receive the full package: scaled floor plan(s), mood board(s), a refined budget, finish selections, and trade-ready specs.

6. Procurement & Project Management

We coordinate ordering, deliveries, and contractor timelines. Includes on-site oversight and project management.

7. Styling & Reveal Day

Accessories and finishing details are styled into place. You come home to a beautifully complete space.

Optional finishes included to round out your design.

6. The Handoff

You purchase the items + hire any trades necessary to complete your project.
